A Perplexing Journey

I blog about; life with my loving husband, & our cats Siggy, and Maddie. Stuff in the news, my crafts, memes, photo posts & various other things that catch my fancy. I really like working at home, my husband appreciates my roll as housewife, and I find it my most rewarding job yet. We still hope to have children, though we still don't have any yet.

'08 President.

I don't think much of Obama, not that I'm against him... more I just don't know enough about him and what is out there isn't very compelling to me. No. my vote isn't going to be swayed by getting the first minority in office, or the first women. I still vote based on learning about candidates and choosing who I think best represents my interests.

This bit of news caught my eye though. Makes me wonder if the Austrailian PM knows something I should know concerning Obama. I mean any time Obama makes a speach I happen to pick up on it just seems like crowd rallying and no meat and potatoes. Honestly, being young and a crowds person can't be all it takes to be a serious political candidate can it? I wonder if the PM really is this against him, or if it's just an attempt to rally the right (which wouldn't be such a bad thing, but needs to be done just right.)
