A Perplexing Journey

I blog about; life with my loving husband, & our cats Siggy, and Maddie. Stuff in the news, my crafts, memes, photo posts & various other things that catch my fancy. I really like working at home, my husband appreciates my roll as housewife, and I find it my most rewarding job yet. We still hope to have children, though we still don't have any yet.

Snowy Chicken!

It's actively snowing outside and just starting to stick. I wonder how much accumulation we'll get?

Here are some photos from the snow fall so far...

I love how you can see the action of the snow if you look at the dark part under the tank. You can’t really see that it’s actively snowing from other parts of the picture.

This is of the snow on top of the skylight, and why it seemed to get so dark in the house.

This is the snow collecting towards the street. Notice the driveway is getting covered now too, considering the snow isn’t letting down anytime soon I think it’ll be another time to shovel snow or be frozen in. Notice too that the snowfall is blocking our view of the mountains. We have visibility for only about one block right now.

This next one shows just how much it is that we live in the country now! I don’t know if it was confused or just looking to get warm but a chicken came into our backyard. I asked the neighbor who it belonged to and kind of walked it towards that direction. I don’t know if it got out or was let out. I do know that they let their birds out a lot. I’ve seen them in our front yard, but not in the back, and not while snowing. The only reason it’s not snow covered where the chicken is is because this is under the trees in the backyard and it always takes longer there. The snow has to get around the branches.

So there are my photos from right now. The snow is still coming down like crazy! And we’re supposed to have three days of this, so maybe a snowman will later be built.
