A Perplexing Journey

I blog about; life with my loving husband, & our cats Siggy, and Maddie. Stuff in the news, my crafts, memes, photo posts & various other things that catch my fancy. I really like working at home, my husband appreciates my roll as housewife, and I find it my most rewarding job yet. We still hope to have children, though we still don't have any yet.

This made me cry.

Regardless of the fact that she had broken some laws this women had quite a huge injustice put on her. When I heard this story, which only really came out yesterday, but is about a year old, I was appauld. This women was pulled over and admitted she was in the wrong but pleaded for help because she was in need of medical attention. There is no excuse for this! All the cops involved are at fault. She was pulled over by a man and women and the female cop tried to keep control of "the situation" but it is very clear she paid no attention to the real situation. I believe she should be charged with the death of an unborn child. She had even said to the criminal/victim that she "knew what a menstration was" and by that point you can tell she doesn't care that the woman is probably going to miscarry or she's too obsessed with finding every little thing wrong with the criminal to fully charge her.
The biggest problem is that she sat in jail for 24 hours and when she finally was able to get herself medical attention she gave birth to a baby boy who lived for one minute. They had to change her pants multiple times during her jail stay and that should have been a red flag for needing medical attention regardless of being pregnant or not!
I'm so sick from this! It's a complete neglect. Yes the woman had expired tags and a revoaked license, but she was also in a medical emergancy and was only trying to do the best she could to keep her health and that of her unborn child.
Here is the story.
