A Perplexing Journey

I blog about; life with my loving husband, & our cats Siggy, and Maddie. Stuff in the news, my crafts, memes, photo posts & various other things that catch my fancy. I really like working at home, my husband appreciates my roll as housewife, and I find it my most rewarding job yet. We still hope to have children, though we still don't have any yet.

10

Dana tagged me to post 10 random or unique things about me, so here I go.

1.) I knew in High-school that I was going to marry Kevin and spend the rest of my life with him. I was such a non-teen. While others were dating, I was courting.

2.) My cat's name is Sigmund Freud Wilson because I adopted him to stay sane after Tony Cat passed away. For anyone not familiar with Freud, he is thought by many to be a forefather of Psychology.

3.) Growing up my dreams of what I wanted to be when I grew up was constantly changing. But through it all, one dream has always remained true, and that's to be a wife & mother, I'm halfway there.

4.) I'm proud to be a housewife, I believe the woman's place is in the home. I'm very anti-feminism. I believe there is a reason women in general have nurturing souls.

5.) I'm registered Republican so I can vote in primaries, though my political views much more fall in line with Constitution Party/American Independent. I was registered American Independent when we lived in California.

6.) This year is 10 years since high-school for me. Since I went to three different schools for my 4 years of high-school I don't really have any desire to go to a reunion... I wouldn't know which school's to go for and there is no way I could afford to go to all three.

7.) My class ring is not for the school I graduated from, but the first high-school I went to. I still wished that had been where I graduated, I would have graduated early and with college credit, as it was moving to California really made my study skills lax.

8.) I'm obsessive about profiles. Now that I don't constantly change this profile, I've started constantly changing my swap-bot profile. I love swap-bot Loads of fun!

9.) I have multiple chronic illnesses. It's horrible. I'm 28 and have Rheumatoid arthritis, Poly Cystic Ovary syndrome (our infertility), loads of allergies, asthma, eczema, dysthimia (depression), and an undiagnosed reason for chronic insomnia probably related to all of the above and all the meds and vits I take for all of the above. I have one shoe-box full for meds, and one full for vits.

10.) I daily pray for guidance, wisdom and understanding, for God to reveal to Kevin and I His plans for how He intends for us to grow our family.

I'm feeling distractible, so I tag whoever reads this and feels like doing it.

Thanks so much for your very sweet response to my Show and Tell Friday. I loved reading that you used to go by the nursing homes to visit, and I have no doubt that you would be doing that now if there was some place close by.

I visited homes when I was younger then saw my volunteer work go into different directions as my life changed and I grew older. But now as things go and as necessity dictates, I find myself back at the nursing home once again. I've dropped a lot of my other obligations for the time being and find this is where my time is best spent for the moment.

I guess we go where we are supposed to be at the appropriate time.

As difficult as it was seeing this happen, I find myself thankful for a place where there are activities and opportunities for her to enjoy others. There is always something to be thankful for.

Because I love little games I will pick up your challenge and give it a try. I'm so new to blogging.

See you later.
