I'm all for conservation, but I'm also for using OUR resources. These videos are informative, and Newt lays the proposition our quickly. Take a listen and sign the petition too if you feel so convicted.
I don't want our nation dependent on oil, but in the mean time, until hybrids and electric vehicles and such are common place something needs to be done. It's just too great a financial burden to expect people to be sucked out of gas (by making it cost so much) use and then all of a sudden also be able to afford an alternative energy vehicle. In the interest of economics "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" makes the most sense.
