A Perplexing Journey

I blog about; life with my loving husband, & our cats Siggy, and Maddie. Stuff in the news, my crafts, memes, photo posts & various other things that catch my fancy. I really like working at home, my husband appreciates my roll as housewife, and I find it my most rewarding job yet. We still hope to have children, though we still don't have any yet.

Maddie doesn't like 2.3 magnitude earthquakes.

Well, a couple hours ago there were two teeny tiny little jolts. So small I couldn't tell if it was a truck going by, or an earthquake. According to the USGS it was the latter. I kind of knew that too as soon as the second jolt hit which lasted just a little bit longer, but still only around a second or two for both. Also telling me it was a quake was that my cat Maddie freaked out before, during and after it. She's calmed back down now, but was very agitated thinking something was being done to torment her. Poor thing.

Here are the links for the quake. You can see it's very close to home, but very weak and not really noteworthy. I just feel compelled to record every little quake I feel.

Kevin did not feel this at work, so I don't think it was felt very far from home.
